Following is a list of reflections. Reverend Sally
Harris weaves many sources together to create the worship experience.
As you read these reflections/sermons you will realize that
Sally believes in the 'Communion of Saints' not only as a metaphor
but as a literary tool. The late Bob McLean, former professor
of Practical Theology at Queen's, used to quote other preachers
rather extensively. When quizzed about it, his response was
simple: "Are you familiar with the communion of saints?",
which means not only that are we not alone in our faith, but
what is shared is shared with all. Therefore you may recognize
ideas, illustrations, quotes, and lines from other sources.
Not every source is acknowledged as this is originally an oral
presentation rather than a written paper. Needless to say you
are at liberty to be part of this saintly communion by using
without acknowledgment, any thoughts, stories, etc. that may
be 'original' to Sally's sermons!
